Cameron is driven by a desire to help people access justice; specifically to provide efficient and cost-effective outcomes for those who have been injured. He is passionate about helping people to understand the legal process and giving tailored advice in order to help each client get the best outcome for their situation.

“When an injured person understands what they are entitled to and what to expect from the system they find themselves in, they are better able to help themselves get life back to some normality with less anxiety as to what the future holds. For me, seeing the client work through a very difficult time whilst getting them the best financial outcome possible is the most rewarding part of working in personal injury practice.”

It’s this exemplary service that had Cameron recognised by the independent Doyles Guide as a recommended Work Injury Compensation Lawyer.

Cameron completed his Bachelor of Laws degree at the end of 2005, graduating with Honours, and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 2007. During this time he gained work experience with the Legal Aid duty lawyers at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

Cameron has been practising since 2006, gaining experience in worker’s compensation claims, public liability claims, motor vehicle accident claims, superannuation claims, compulsory acquisitions, commercial litigation, criminal defence cases and victims of crime compensation claims.

In 2011 Cameron opened a law office in Warrnambool where he specialised in personal injury matters; becoming an Accredited Specialist of Personal Injury Law in 2013 with the Law Institute of Victoria. In 2017, he moved back to Melbourne, continuing to help workers through the Victorian workers’ compensation scheme in Werribee and then joined the Shine Lawyers team in July 2018.
