Settlement
What happens after my claim has been resolved?
After your claim has been resolved there are some final steps that we’ll take care of for you before your monies arrive:
Settlement terms are confirmed in writing (settlement documents).
Government departments and other organisations (Medicare, Centrelink, Private Health Insurer) are notified to check for any refunds owing.
Outstanding issues, including costs, are finalised with the Insurer.
Monies are requested and distributed.
