Michael Lau is a Senior Solicitor in our Abuse Law department. As part of the Abuse Law team, Michael provides legal advice to survivors of abuse as well as acting as a voice for clients.

Michael assisted in the landmark historical sexual abuse case MC v Morris, in which the plaintiff was awarded a record $3.5 million dollars in compensation. In addition to his knowledge of abuse law, Michael has practiced across personal injury and commercial litigation. Michael studied law and arts at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2016. He was admitted as a lawyer the following year. He is fluent in Cantonese.
