“The law is not just about process and regulation; it is about fairness, compassion and understanding of human behaviour and society.”

Marie chose a career in law as she considered it to be a privilege to advocate on behalf of people who need it most, to fight for the rights of her clients and make a positive difference in their lives. She is passionate about guiding each of her clients through the legal process and their entitlements as quickly and efficiently as possible to reduce their stress during what is often one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Distinguished by her communication skills, empathy and candour with clients, Marie’s primary area of expertise is workers compensation claims. She works hard for those who have been injured at work to help them receive compensation for medical bills, rehabilitation costs and accessing return-to-work services.

Prior to joining the Shine Lawyers team, Marie worked at another prominent law firm honing her skills in helping clients with personal injuries claims.

Marie has a Bachelor of Creative Arts from Macquarie University and Bachelor of Laws from the Southern Cross University where she graduated in 2018 before being admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
