Katharine Wood has been working since 2009 to help her clients after they’ve suffered an injury to achieve their desired outcomes and assist them to reach a better future.

Originally studying and practising law in the United Kingdom, Katharine’s specialities included civil litigation, personal injury law and costs litigation. She moved to Australia in 2012 where she commenced studying a Bachelor of Laws and joined the Shine Lawyers’ family. While studying, Katharine used her past expertise in the Legal Costing team, before moving to the Medical Negligence team in 2014 where she worked as a Senior Paralegal. In 2018 Katharine was admitted into Australian practice and subsequently transferred into the firm’s Head Trauma Department where she combines her experience in personal injury law with a passion for helping clients through what can be a very difficult time in their lives.

Katharine’s other experience includes helping clients with motor vehicle accident claims, public liability claims and medical negligence / medical malpractice claims.
