A member of the Energy Team with the Dalby branch, Diane is passionate about lending her clients a voice and helping them secure their best possible outcome.
“As a Primary Producer, I know how precious land is to a landholder. Our families work hard to be able grow food for our fellow Australians’, and to have a resource company dictate what you can and can’t do with your own land is devastating”.
Diane is an experienced negotiator, previously practiced Family Law and has 6 years’ experience as an Accredited Mediator. Alongside her professional career, for 17 years Diane has been a Primary Producer on the Darling Downs.
She studied law at the University of Southern Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws. She went on to complete her Graduate Diploma of Legal Studies at the Queensland University of Technology and was admitted as a solicitor in 2019.
“As a lawyer, I can directly support my clients through negotiations which, without legal representation, can be unbalanced and inequitable.”
Diane is heavily involved with the local community, volunteering with the local Golf, Rugby Union and Netball clubs. She is also an advocate for rural and remote children with the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association, advocating for the kids to receive similar opportunities to their city counterparts.
