Based out of the Cairns office, Carrie Thomas is passionate about fighting for justice on behalf of members of the Cairns community. She leads a team of expert compensation lawyers to provide legal services of the highest quality to the local community.

With nearly two decades of experience as a solicitor, eight of those acting for major insurance companies as a defendant lawyer, Carrie knows the processes and tactics of the other side. She applies this knowledge to each case she runs, allowing her to achieve remarkable results for those she represents.

Carrie understands intimately the effects an unfortunate occurrence can have on one physically, emotionally and financially, and she's there to ensure her clients have the legal support and guidance needed.

I love being able to make a difference in people's lives - helping them navigate the complex, emotionally-charged legal process.

The Shine Lawyers Cairns team all share the same strong personal values as Carrie, which drives them to go above and beyond to achieve the best possible outcomes for their clients as quickly as possible. Experts in personal compensation legal services, Carrie and her team help clients when they need it most.
