Stepping into the world of Personal Injury Law wasn't just a career choice for Joseph Kurtin; it was a calling. His passion for representing the most vulnerable among us resonates in his commitment to ensuring they navigate the intricate insurance system effectively, especially during life's most trying times.

Joseph's experience spans across Worker's Compensation, Motor Vehicle, and Public Liability claims, allowing him to quickly identify potential pitfalls and craft robust strategies to overcome them.

Joseph's dedication to justice was inspired by his background in Work Health Safety, where he personally witnessed the ramifications of overlooked safety protocols.

Moved by the plight of those who didn't receive their rightful assistance and treatment, Joseph decided to be the beacon they needed, guiding them through the complex maze of insurance and healthcare. Always an advocate for the 'little guy', he has consistently volunteered at Townsville Community Law since 2019, ensuring the underrepresented get access to quality legal advice. His 2021 internship with the North Queensland Land Council deepened his ties with First Nation Australians, giving him a profound appreciation for Native Title claims and their significance.

While Joseph's legal journey may be in its nascent stages, his experience, both academic and practical, has already marked him out as a beacon of dedication and advocacy. A graduate of James Cook University with distinction, and commendation for Academic Excellence in 2020, his extensive volunteering experiences underscore his commitment to community and justice. Beyond the legal sphere, his background in Work Health and Safety in the construction sector offers a unique insight into the nuances of safety regulations and their impact.
