"My ability to manage clients particularly in highly emotional situations is one of my greatest strengths as a lawyer. I take a solution centric approach to problem solving and give a voice to the voiceless."
Elizzabeth is a committed lawyer based in Canberra, specialising in Abuse Law, Motor Vehicle Accident, Personal Injury, Public Liability, and Workers' Compensation. After being admitted to the ACT Supreme Court in 2019, she started her career working in private practice specialising in Wills & Estates then moved to the Department of Defence, providing strategic legal advice.
Her passion for representing survivors of abuse was ignited during her volunteer work at the Fighting for Justice Foundation, where she worked on curbing human trafficking and addressing gender-based violence in the Australasia region. Elizzabeth is known for her ability to manage clients in highly emotional situations, her problem-solving, and dedication to giving a voice to the voiceless. She has successfully settled personal injury abuse cases worth up to $750k against the Department of Defence and was instrumental in defeating a recent stay application against the Marist Brothers in a historical sexual abuse claim.
Elizzabeth holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Canberra, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Monash University, and is a member of the ACT Law Society. As well as her professional achievements, Elizzabeth remains deeply committed to volunteer work. She has been a Telephone Crisis Supporter at Lifeline, volunteered at the Fighting for Justice Foundation and is currently helping Kids in Care.
