“It is important to me that every person has an opportunity to tell their story. Without letting everyone share their knowledge, experiences and perspectives, we’ll never learn anything new or learn from each other.”
Caitlin is a Senior Solicitor in our Estate Litigation team who is based in our heartland offices in Toowoomba and Dalby.
“I like to think we help families come back together again in a time of grief. We help people to move forward with their lives and to plan for the future.”
Caitlin begins each client's matter by asking her clients to describe what happened so she understands their story, in their words. This allows her explain the legal options available to them and provide tailored advice about the best way forward.
Caitlin’s love of storytelling and sharing knowledge has helped her to gain a true appreciation for the nuances in the law and where she can push boundaries to help people secure the outcomes most important to them. This has also developed her passion for ensuring millennials and Gen Z understand the importance of succession planning and are aware of what their options are for the circumstances they might find themselves in.
Prior to joining the Shine team, Caitlin worked at a country general practice firm where, in addition to, estate litigation and succession planning, she helped clients with family law and criminal law matters.
