‘I fight to achieve the best possible compensation for people who are injured at their work’

Senior Solicitor David Phillips works alongside the team of legal experts at Shine Lawyers Dandenong to fight for the rights of members of the local community who have been injured in their place of work.

It is David’s level of technical expertise and legal acumen, gleaned from his years of experience across an array of legal fields, that distinguishes him from other solicitors in his field. He began his legal career fighting for the other side, providing advice for major defendant law firms across Victoria and also working as In House Counsel for a major WorkCover insurer, before his desire to fight for the little guy inspired his move to plaintiff litigation in 2012.

His many years as both a defendant and plaintiff lawyer have granted David the ability to give well rounded advice to his clients about what to expect from the legal process and the various stakeholders in the industry. His expertise in his chosen field was recognised in 2015 when David became a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law. A dedicated, highly-skilled legal expert, David will go above and beyond to ensure the just result is obtained for those he represents.
