“The only stable state is the one in which all men and women are equal before the law”

As a Solicitor with Shine Lawyers’ North Lakes office, Phillip Carlson works with a team a team of legal experts, fighting to uphold the rights of members of the local community who have suffered injustice.

Before pursuing a career within the legal industry, Phil served as a US Marine for eight years, including four as a member of the US Marine Band. This military experience has proven invaluable to Phil in his years as a Solicitor, providing him with a unique insight that distinguishes him from others in his field. Upon moving to Australia, Phil began work in compensation law while undertaking his legal studies. He was admitted to practice in 2013 and worked with some of the State’s leading law firms before moving to Shine Lawyers to stand up for the little guy.

It is the drive and dedication of his fellow team members that motivates Phil every day. He will go above and beyond to ensure each and every client that leaves the Maroochydore office understands their rights under the law and the processes involved in asserting those rights.

In his spare time, Phil is an avid golfer and enjoys coaching junior golf teams.
