Jaimi has eight years' experience in the legal industry, working first in Tasmania before moving to Queensland. She started at Shine Lawyers as an administration assistant, working her way up to paralegal and now Solicitor with the Carindale branch. In Tasmania, she worked for a boutique law firm, servicing clients across family law, wills and estates, criminal law and conveyancing.

She studied at Griffith University, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws in 2018. She was admitted as a lawyer the following year.
