Melissa has always been passionate about supporting at risk individuals in the community to achieve social justice. She completed a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Human Services in 2010 at the Christian Heritage College and a Graduate Diploma in Wellness at the RMIT University of Melbourne. She was drawn to study the law after working as a case worker in various community and government organisations.
