Stuart’s idea of litigation is practical and straightforward, without the pomp and ceremony that takes place in traditional law firms.
“My aim has always been to achieve the very best results for my clients with minimum fuss.” he said.
Stuart qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1996. After moving to Australia in 2003 from the UK one of Stuart’s biggest challenges was adapting to the Australian jurisdiction after ten years of practicing law in the UK.
Underlining the determination that has made him an exceptional litigator, Stuart made a quick transition and was rewarded with promotion to Associate and then Legal Partner in quick succession. He has risen to the most senior legal post in Shine's home state, appointed Queensland Legal Partner in 2009.
But Stuart still thrives on the heat of battle - going up against the large insurance companies and respective Defendant’s law firms.
“To represent the interests of a client against large corporations and to achieve results that will change people’s lives is the best part of our work,” he said.
