Due to recent internal movements, our Toowoomba
– Ruthven St office is searching for a Principal Claims Manager in our
Settlements Services Team to join the business. Our Toowoomba - Ruthven
St office is where the Accounts Team is based nationally. We are seeking a passionate individual who
wants to take the business to the next level.
The Role:
- Manage,
coach and mentor Post Settlement Operators
- Manage
workflow of all principal claim files in Queensland
- Obtain
signed discharges, Medicare notices of settlement and trust account
authorities
- Prepare
files for cost assessment and recovery of standard costs
- Ensure
client billing and reconciliations are processed in a timely manner
- Reviewing,
re-engineering and implementing new and existing post settlement processes
- Liaise
with clients, defendant solicitors, insurance companies and government
departments
- Preparation
of applicable reports and other file work as required
The Person:
- 3
years experience in a leadership position involving post settlement tasks
- This
role would suit a experienced legal secretary
- Strong
numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Must
have a good knowledge of the Queensland legal system and cost system
associated with personal injury claims
- Demonstrated
experience in designing and implementation of new processes
- Solid
written and effective verbal communication skills
- Ability
to handle a large volume of tasks and prioritise your week
