• 1976 “KG & Shine & Co”
• 1981 Stephen Roche joined the firm as an Articled Clerk
• 1981 new partnership, “KG Shine Dean & Mogg”
• 1983 partnership dissolved & returned to “ KG Shine & Co”
• 1988 Stephen Roche joins Kerry Shine in partnership, firm becomes “Shine Roche”
• 1988 Simon Morrison joins the firm
• 1990 Merger leads to “Shine Murdoch” & firm becomes the largest in Toowoomba & moves to new home, “Kensington”
• 1994 Brisbane office established
• 1995 Murdoch’s partnership dissolved, “Shine Roche McGowan” is born.
• 1998 “Specialisation” was introduced: specific departments devoted to each type of plaintiff litigation practice areas
• 1997 – 2002 Mass Tort Litigation Arrives
