We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer with extensive Microsoft SQL and SharePoint experience to assist in developing innovative reporting solutions.

The role:

Through agile engagement, you will be working closely with internal stakeholders in order to establish requirements and deliver intelligent end-to-end reporting solutions across Shine.  Shine’s technical environment is dedicated to current Microsoft technologies and agile methodologies.

The Business Intelligence Developer will have an in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of Microsoft SQL to design and compile data cubes from various SQL systems, using SSRS, SSAS and SSIS technologies. You will also be responsible for the presentation of data and reporting solutions to stakeholders leveraging Microsoft SharePoint’s business intelligence capabilities, including Excel Services, Visio Services, Performance Point Services and PowerPivot.

You will have:

•  A minimum of 3 years’ experience developing Microsoft based business intelligence solutions
• Strong SQL skills including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS and MDX
•  Experience in BI presentation via SharePoint, including Excel Services, Visio Services, Performance Point Services and PowerPivot
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• A solid understanding of emerging business intelligence technologies
• An ability to engage with technical and non-technical business units
• An understanding of the importance of business critical technologies
• Experience working with a professional services firm will be advantageous
