Within two years of commencing at Shine Lawyers in 2007, Melinda has torn through the ranks moving from Branch Manager in 2008 to Legal Partner South-East Queensland in 2009 moving to Central Queensland Legal Partner in 2010. This is a true testament to Melinda’s striking managerial and networking skills, as well as, her commitment to achieving great results for her clients.

Balancing management and organisational skills in addition to maintaining legal knowledge is also one of her biggest challenges. But she says “the more solid the business, the more clients we can help,” which is also her greatest privilege, “when a client trusts you and allows you into their home and their life - it is a humbling experience.”

She does this with integrity which Melinda says is of vital importance to the profession - whether she is dealing with clients, opponents or the Court.
