“Being able to make a real difference to our client’s lives – showing them empathy and understanding and giving them a voice,” Melinda believes is the greatest privilege in her career.
To recognise her expertise and loyalty, Melinda was appointed a Shine Lawyers Associate in 2002 and elevated to Partner in 2007. In 2009, Melinda joined the Shine Human Resources Team as a trainer and facilitator, focusing on the personal and professional development of members of the Shine team. This area of Melinda’s career gives her great satisfaction— “We have an abundance of talent and enthusiasm amongst our people and it is a privilege to be able to contribute to their development,” she says.
Before this Melinda operated as the firm's Knowledge Manager and oversaw Shine’s vast pool of intellectual property.
