We are seeking an enthusiastic IT professional with strong communication skills to join our national IT team comprising of 14 professionals. 

The role:

You will possess a strong ability to work autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively on a firm-wide level, with particular focus on our Queensland offices.  This role will be primarily based in our Brisbane CBD office however at times travel may be required.

Key responsibilities include;

• Providing effective 1st and 2nd Level IT support via phone/email using remote support tools;
• Installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 & Microsoft Office 2003/2007 and 2010;
• Installing, configuring and supporting VPN clients and Citrix;
• Deploying, maintaining and supporting desktop hardware, printers and communication devices such as iPhones;
• Deploying, maintaining and supporting VoIP technology;
• Creating and maintaining user accounts in Active Directory.

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in the IT Support/helpdesk role;
• Experience with call logging tools and help desk software is essential;
• Proven track record of efficient customer service satisfaction;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Demonstrated strong problem solving skills;
• Must have current drivers License;
• Previous experience in a Legal or Professional Services environment would be highly regarded.

Knowledge of problem resolution procedures, testing and evaluation methods, programming tools, and system network security would be highly desirable;
