In Grant Dearlove’s role as Shine Lawyers’ Special Practice Legal Partner, he leads a number of departments including Class Actions, Major Claims, Special Projects, Environmental Torts and Shine Special Counsel. These specialist divisions deal with some of the largest and most complex and challenging litigation cases. Grant has almost two decades experience as a litigation lawyer as well as a successful track record in business management. He is the former Managing Director of Colliers International's residential business in Australia and prior to his role at Shine was an Equity Partner of a leading Brisbane law firm for 10 years.
Grant has also undertaken private business consultancy for a number of professional firms focused on strategic direction and growth spanning real estate, property finance, construction and risk and has studied leadership of professional service organisations at Harvard University.
Grant’s proven legal skills and management acumen along with his drive and determination to support the talent of his team ensures that we secure some remarkable results for clients.
Outside of work, Grant's interests include wrestling his three sons and towing them to sport and school activities every weekend. He follows all sports particularly rugby union.
