Community Involvement

We adopt a local presence so that our specialist lawyers are close to the heart of the communities they serve.

Shine Lawyers adopt a strategy of building a national firm with a strong local presence

We take our role in serving local communities further than providing legal advice and expertise. We have a strong culture of sponsorship and community responsibility. Our staff work and live in their local communities and know which organisations and local events to support.

That is why we adopt a sponsorship policy that enables our offices to have access to funds as well as decide, which organisations they would like to support. For each of these organisations, we provide financial assistance, volunteers and support.

Shine Lawyers is currently working with the following organisations around Australia;
Spinal Injuries Association Ball
CareFlight Network Event
Enough is Enough
Gympie Mary Valley Polo Club
• Gympie Rotary Trivia Night
Ipswich Park to Park Fun Run
• The Souths Logan Magpies Rugby League Team
• Victorian Spinal Cord Service
Shine Lawyers QUT Torts Moot
USQ Law School Public Law Lectures

Giving our time

Across our 18 offices we have teams of specialised lawyers dedicated to making a difference in their communities and donating their time to support events and fundraisers such as volunteering for the Salvation Army, and participating in charity sporting events like the Gold Coast Marathon, Sunshine Coast Charity Bowls and supporting the Toowoomba Advocacy & Support Centre.

Shine Lawyers also contribute to other fundraising events during the year including:
• Jeans for Genes Day
• SIDS for Kids Red Nose Day
• Australia's Biggest Morning Tea
• Mother’s Day Classic Breast Cancer Walk
• Relay for Life – Cancer Council
