Chris has chaired the Board Meetings of Shine Lawyers since 2003 and following the incorporation of Shine Lawyers Pty Ltd in early 2009, was appointed Board Chairman. He has been the Chairman of the Manufacturing Industries Group Apprenticeship Scheme Inc since 2007, employing over 800 apprentices and trainees in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. From 1998 to 2008 was a Chairman with The Executive Connection (TEC), one of the world's leading international organisation for Chief Executives.

Chris is a former managing director of Eimco Australia and Tamrock Australia (a $100M turnover subsidiary of Sandvik AB, a Swedish public company). In addition, he was Regional Director for Tamrock Africa & Australia reporting to the Tamrock Worldwide CEO, based in Tampere, Finland. Formerly he was VP for Asia Pacific for Baker Hughes Inc., a Houston based multinational, and an Executive VP for Tamrock Inc., based in Pittsburgh, USA.

Chris has run successful medium-sized manufacturing, servicing, and distribution businesses in Australia and Africa. He has started up small to medium-sized businesses in Australia and overseas, and has significant experience working in large international corporates. He has been in charge of mergers and acquisitions, and is familiar with the issues from both parties' perspectives. His external consulting experience covers a broad range - from business analysis through strategic planning to human resources and personal coaching. Chris is Principal of Talented People Pty Ltd, a consultancy set up in 1994 to help leaders make better decisions.

A company director since 1988, Chris is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Australian Institute of Management. He has degrees in Engineering and Management and is a Chartered Engineer in UK, Australia and South Africa. He is married with 2 adult children and has 3 grandchildren.
