After more than a decade of practising law, Jessica says her driving force has always been the difference she can make in people’s lives and within the community.

"I am driven to guide everyday people through complex legal systems to ensure they can improve their lives and focus on their future."

Jessica is an Associate at the Shine Lawyers’ Townsville branch, practising in personal injury law, helping those who have been injured on our roads, at work or in a public place. She also has experience in Commercial and Property Law.

After more than a decade of practising law, Jessica says her driving force has always been the difference she can make in people’s lives and within the community.

A career highlight for her was helping a young person and their family negotiate a successful outcome following a traumatic motor vehicle accident that left the client with a severe brain injury. Jessica worked tirelessly to achieve a settlement that ensured her client was able to receive quality, lifelong care. This meant her client was able to receive lifelong, quality care and the family could rest assured their child’s future was secure. After completing her Bachelor of Laws at the James Cook University in Townsville, Jessica went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (ANU) and a Graduate Diploma of Military Law (ANU).

Jessica is also passionate about giving back to the community, volunteering with the Townsville Community Legal Service and LawRite. She was also on the board for Tardiss from 2016-2020, a local non-for-profit disability support services provider. Jessica is also a reserve legal officer with the RAAF.
