“When we have successfully obtained justice for our client, I draw satisfaction not only in the compensation we have obtained, but in the fact that their stories have finally been told and believed.”

Albert is an Associate with Shine Lawyers’ Abuse Law practice, advocating for survivors of institutional abuse. In his role, Albert assists his clients to navigate the legal system and overcome roadblocks from well-resourced defendants.

While Albert's primary focus is abuse law claims, he also has experience across many areas of plaintiff-law, including Public Liability, Motor Vehicle Accident, Workers’ Compensation, Medical Negligence and Employment Law.

Prior to his legal career, Albert worked at an international NGO where he had the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated in-house legal team. Seeing what lawyers could do to further advance human rights and bring about justice to those most in need is what inspired him to return to university to pursue a career in law.
