The Vision

The Shine Centre of Learning  vision began with the purchase of a property in South-East Queensland. The vision was to turn the property into a place of learning, where Shine Lawyers, along with anyone who has a passion or interest in the legal field can go to acquire skills, knowledge and attitudes from experts, as well as share their experience and methods for success. 

The Value

The Shine Centre of Learning creates value for Shine Lawyers by providing staff with key skills and knowledge to apply in the workplace, directly targeting organisational effectiveness. The Centre of Learning strengthens our culture, develops and encourages our most important resource, our staff.

The personal and professional development facilitated through this training support the goals of the firm and the career path of the individual. We believe that there are important areas, such as personal effectiveness, thinking skills, and questioning techniques, which can also have a positive impact for all staff and the success of the organisation.

Our People

Every member of staff is invited to attend an initial week long Foundation Program at the Shine Centre of Learning. That's why upon returning to the office, ongoing support and mentoring programs are offered across the organisation by training and managerial staff. The aim is to provide a supportive work environment for staff members, by actively encouraging the personal development and career progression of staff.

Unique Training

Whilst current legal training is highly regarded, it is often narrow in its content and application. The Shine Centre of Learning is unique from other legal training currently available in that we offer training programs across the firm, rather than solely legal practitioners. This includes tailored programs for administration, paralegals, IT, accounts, managers, lawyers, partners and reception staff. By targeting all legal and non-legal areas of the firm and providing a holistic approach to training the Shine Centre of Learning is a unique concept that places our firm at the cutting edge of the legal sector training in Australia.
