Shine Lawyers has continued its interstate expansion, opening its doors in the Melbourne suburb of Reservoir.
The office is headed up by David Barton, who said the new Shine branch is being welcomed by the people of Reservoir.
“The Reservoir branch is in its early stages and so far we have had a great response from the local communities,” Mr Barton said.
“Shine’s commitment to opening local branches across Victoria means we are close to the communities we serve, allowing us to focus on achieving positive results for clients.”
“I am thrilled to be a part of this new venture and to be able to offer specialist legal advice to the residents of Reservoir and the surrounding areas,” Mr Barton said.
Shine Lawyers Chief Executive Stephen Roche said Shine’s approach of localising its branches to be closer to the communities it serves has been a winning formula.
“At a time where our competitors are centralising operations, we’re finding people really appreciate a different approach. Our model is to have a presence at a grass roots level, by placing specialist lawyers into local areas,” Mr Roche said.
It’s this unwavering commitment to bring justice to people who need a helping hand that caught the attention of one of the world’s most well known litigators, Erin Brockovich.
The renowned environmental crusader has been working with Shine Lawyers on a casual basis for the past two years and has recently formalised her consultancy role at the firm.
“If you need someone tough on your side call Shine Lawyers, the only Australian law firm I work with and trust,” she says.
Erin Brockovich stars in the new television commercial for Shine Lawyers that has been seen recently on screens around the country.
In the ad Brockovich highlights the never-say-die attitude of the firm, which in her words are the “bulldogs of the industry” that “won’t shy away from a fight”.
